Key Responsibilities - Daily Tasks:
- Estimate plaster, stucco, EIFS, and waterproofing products for all projects.
- Pre-qualify bids through phone calls or site visits.
- Follow up on all bids to maintain strong client relationships.
- Generate and transfer job scope bid packages.
- Weekly Tasks:
- Communicate with general contractors' PreCon departments.
- Oversee regional bid and award volume.
- Approve invoices assigned to the regional estimating department.
- Quarterly Tasks:
- Participate in quarterly executive reviews in Birmingham.
- Prepare and update sales, financial, and bidding reports using Google Sheets.
- General Estimating Duties:
- Master On Screen Take-off software and proprietary estimating Excel templates.
- Conduct accurate and complete quantity surveys.
- Maintain bid volume of $6M or eight bids per month, with a 15% conversion rate to contracts.
- Timely follow-up on all submitted bids.
- Sales Support:
- Build strong relationships with general contractors within your region.
- Expand bid volume with emerging city general contractors.
- Maintain and increase win percentages through strategic outreach.
- Consistently update sales reporting and attend corporate meetings via Zoom.
Qualifications - Experience in a similar estimating role or industry specialization.
- Proficiency in On Screen Take-off software and Microsoft Excel required.
- Strong understanding of plaster, stucco, EIFS, and waterproofing products and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally and participate in quarterly reviews in Birmingham.
