Our client is a very large/profitable distribution company in the Swanzey, NH area.

Must be able to commute to the office 1-2 days per week.

Support the preparation, review, and submission of tax filings and payments across multiple jurisdictions. Responsibilities include data analysis, compliance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns; submit payments and documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather and validate tax data
• Reconcile tax-related balance sheet accounts
• Respond to state and local tax authority inquiries
• Research tax legislation and ensure jurisdictional compliance
• Support tax audits and related documentation
• Contribute to tax projects and process improvements
• Assist with automation and data streamlining initiatives
• Maintain accurate tax rates and rules in systems
• Manage exemption certificate records and requests
• Research potential tax credits
• Assist with license applications and renewals
• Support onboarding and training of new hires

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; relevant experience considered
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting/tax compliance
• Experience in corporate tax preferred
