**Responsibilities** **$15,000 - Sign On Bonus offered for new hires** **Labor & Delivery Night Full Time Registered Nurse** Mercy San Juan's Family Birth Place is the level 3 within the greater Sacramento Dignity Hospitals. Our Family Birth Center is Joint Commission Certified for Perinatal Care and we follow the 10 steps to successful breastfeeding. FBC consists of a 12 bed labor unit, 2 OR's, a 14 bed private postpartum unit, a PACU and 2 triage bays. We average 100-120 deliveries a month, and the department is supported by 8 Nurse Shift Managers, a Perinatal Safety Nurse and a Perinatal Nurse Educator. The incumbent is a professional who provides and supervises care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally. Visit our unit via: \#hellofamilybirthingRN \#RN@DH **Qualifications** **Minimum:** + 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience + Fetal monitoring experience required + Current CA RN licensure BLS, ACLS & NRP certificate from American Heart Association + NCC fetal monitoring certificate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course completion within 12 months of hire + Cesarean Section experience preferred **Overview** Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 384-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California.
